Happily, though, my mom bought an embroidery machine a few weekends ago. She had been considering one for a while and after researching the brands decided on a midrange babylock. This past weekend Graham, Greta, and I visited Momma and Daddy. Momma and I spent the better part of the weekend making the rest of my burp cloths pretty. I really enjoyed the design aspect of it. It was fun and challenging to come up with different color/font/spacing combos to compliment the ribbon and fabric. Below is the fruit of our labor.
Scroll down for two new posts I started during the last week or two and finally got around to posting!

I am jealous!!!I have been wishing for years that my Mom would buy one of those machines. I love little personalized stuff and it is just too pricey to get it done somewhere. The burp cloths are really cute!!
These are soo sweet! I can't believe you have so many!! She'll have one for every outfit!
Hey - next time you're in the area and you can fit it in -- I'd love to see you guys!
How did your venture go at Nordstrom?
They turned out super well and are all so unique!!! I bet you had a fun time making them with your mom.
I love your cloths! You should start a business. Also the picture of Greta is so adorable!
Thanks for all the nice comments on the burp cloths. They were so much fun to do.
Jen - I actually didn't make it to Nordstroms. The burp cloths took longer than I thought. However, that was actually a good thing. figleaves.com had the same bras and I found a coupon code for free shipping plus 10% off. I've ordered several sizes in the 2 different styles to see what I like best and they have free returns so I'll send back what doesn't fit or I don't like.
I'll be sure to let you know next time we'll be in town. It'll probably be within the next month.
