Query

Greta took a bottle tonight for the first time. I'm such a rule follower I had to hold out until that 6 week mark before we tried. :-) She complained a bit at first until she figured out there was good stuff inside. I'd tried giving her a pacifier (the kind like they get at the hospital) but she really didn't like it so I wasn't that hopeful for the bottle. She did great and ate 5 ounces. That leads me to my question. Those of you that use a bottle, does this sound like a lot? Granted it was her right before bedtime feeding and she always eats for a long time when I nurse her (40 minutes compared to 10 minutes during the day). I'm just trying to figure out what kind of increments to freeze my milk in. I've been doing 2 or fewer ounces since 2 was what was recommended and I'd only been getting that much but my pumping has been getting more productive so I'm wondering if should freeze in higher increments or split it up into 2 bags. I hate to throw any of the milk away, it seems such a waste.

This whole leaking milk at random times - very annoying. The only upside I can find is at least I know I have plenty of it!

I've been assured that eventually this will stop but until then. . .
