Ready for swimsuit season

Sometimes I feel like I have a doll. I enjoy dressing Greta up in outfits and for the most part she's agreeable. Today I tried out her new swimsuit to make sure it fitted. I went ahead and ordered it early since we plan to do a Mommy and Me swim class at Sportsclub in either March or April. The bottoms have the swim diaper built in so we won't have to buy disposables. The hat is reversible so it'll go with her other suits and it has an spf of 50+.

The swimsuit is an iPlay suit I got from myswimbaby.com The iPlay suits were recommended by a lady in a cloth diapering group in Greenville. I was really pleased with myswimbaby.com. They very reasonable prices and great shipping prices.

I actually bought another one in the same size but I'm gonna return it for the next size up as Greta will likely transition sizes over the summer.

FYI - Most pools round here require swim diapers AND the diaper cover thingydobbers...so you might want to be sure about the swim diapers. And if you DO have to buy them, costco is the best place =).

It seems silly (and wasteful) to require a disposable swim diaper when this swim diaper contains the solid waste just like a disposable would. It'd be understandable if the swimsuit was just a regular bottom but it's tight fitting to contain any messes and has the absorbent material as well. Here's hoping I don't run into any problems. :-)

Super cute! I looked & looked for a tankini swimsuit last year with the idea of easy diaper changes in mind. Thankfully, Kate didn't have any accidents that required immediate attention last year. This gets me quite excited about this summer. Thanks for a post that looks ahead to lots of fun times! And thanks for a good link. I'm going to investigate!
