So I guess new & improved means I'll need fewer?

I bought three packages of diapers and when I got home I noticed that one of the packages was different even though it was the same size. Huggies has rebranded their diapers from "Natural Fit" to "Little Movers". This change evidently necessitated including 3 fewer diapers for the same price. Nice, Kimberly Clark, real nice.

I might be more upset but I got them on sale with ECBs and another coupon so I paid next to nothing for them....

Bedding for the Babies

Since my lovely sister does not have a blog to share such things I will post about our nursery bedding excursions here.

We looked at Babies R Us, Burlington, & USA Baby. The initial thought was monkeys for Baby A (Boy) & Ladybugs for Baby B (Girl). Unfortunately, it was nigh impossible to find bedding in the same store with similar colors that coordinated enough that they would work in the same room. We could find items online but it's difficult to buy bedding online as some manufacturers think scratchy bedding for an infant is ok (go figure).

Burlington was our last stop. It's an extremely ghetto store (is it like that everywhere?) but they had a large baby section and an extremely helpful worker.

Baby Girl B will have this bedding:

And Baby Boy A will have this bedding:

The walls will probably be painted yellow.

The twins are registered at Babies R Us. We took all the suggestions and tried to remember all the great stuff y'all liked.

Just the facts

Before I forget I wanted to post some cute Greta stories and facts. Most of these pertain to her girly-ness.

  • Loves bows. I mean REALLY loves bows. Wants to wear one at all times, even when going to bed. I have to convince her that you don't wear bows to bed. I can put one in her hair and she insists she still needs a bow. This ends in me showing her the hairbows in the mirror.
  • Enjoys chapstick and lip gloss. When I do my makeup she will request "wip gwoss" (said very thickly) and will patiently wait until I put it on and then she gets some. Favorite flavor? Strawberry Fizz.
  • Favorite Color? Red. If she picks out a bow, shoes, socks, clothes...it's 90% of the time red. Particularly shoes. She LOVES her red shoes.
  • Pretty clothes deserve an "woooooooo". The dress I am currently making for her has received lots of woos during construction and trial fittings.
  • Greta loves to dance and twirl. Just wait till she gets the twirly dress I'm making her!
  • She is enamored by my jewelry, earrings in particular. She will sit and play with my earrings for quite a while and is generally gentle.
  • Bubbles are her new favorite thing and she requests them all the time. Unfortunately, she also enjoys sticking the bubble wand in her mouth. Ewwwww!
  • For some reasons small newborn sized babies are woof woofs. She's referred to them as such on many occasions. Who knows why.
  • She likes to eat peas that are still frozen and uncooked. Graham discovered this one day.
  • The girl is a fan of music. She dances to it and sways. She's not picky. Anything will do.
And just for the record, her stats at 18 months are: 23lbs 2oz, 32.5 in.
