Bedding for the Babies

Since my lovely sister does not have a blog to share such things I will post about our nursery bedding excursions here.

We looked at Babies R Us, Burlington, & USA Baby. The initial thought was monkeys for Baby A (Boy) & Ladybugs for Baby B (Girl). Unfortunately, it was nigh impossible to find bedding in the same store with similar colors that coordinated enough that they would work in the same room. We could find items online but it's difficult to buy bedding online as some manufacturers think scratchy bedding for an infant is ok (go figure).

Burlington was our last stop. It's an extremely ghetto store (is it like that everywhere?) but they had a large baby section and an extremely helpful worker.

Baby Girl B will have this bedding:

And Baby Boy A will have this bedding:

The walls will probably be painted yellow.

The twins are registered at Babies R Us. We took all the suggestions and tried to remember all the great stuff y'all liked.

cute!

I was going to tell you that I saw some really cute stuff at Target that coordinated well enough. . especially their Dwell Studio line -- very cute.

And, I like what you chose. .
How long do you expect they'll share a room? I imagine it's going to be tricky to store all of their "stuff" in one place. . it will call for creativity in organization, for sure!

We are planning on them sharing a room at least until we move into another house- so probably at least a year or year and a half- while they are still in cribs.

This is something I didn't post on the syb thread about baby gear, but I DEFINITELY could have gotten by without was a baby "quilt." Kelley did the right thing & just hung it on the wall! Unfortunately, I love to buy linens, so it may have been impossible for me to resist, but they are really useless except for as decoration, unless you convert to a toddler bed, THEN, you're good to go. To add a soft layer to Kate's bedding once she was older (15 or 16 mo.) I did actually put it on her bed & she slept on top of it with another blankie.

Every Burlington (I still want to add "Coat Factory") that I've been in seems ghetto.
Cute stuff Julie! Were they from the same line? They look so similar. Maybe it's the frogs...
I have cousins that are triplets. My Aunt was telling me that she put all three of them in the same crib for a while! (Then one of the Grandmas had "pity" on the girl, and bought her her own crib so she didn't have to share with the boys!!)

Kelley - who else is pregnant?

Jen - Graham's sister Emily (the middle sister) is pregnant. A bit of a surprise for them but they are very excited. They live right next door to us so I am also really excited that we'll have a new baby next door to love on.

Yes Jen they are both kidsline- I was happy to find something that the animals looked similar but each baby could have a different pattern.
