Meet Katherine Lauren

Cute little hiney & legs
Profile
Her hands were up by her face almost the entire time.
And it's a girl!

Unlike last time we had decided on a definite first name long before we were expecting. I pretty much picked out Greta's name so this time Graham had naming rights. Katherine is also a family name on my side which didn't hurt! Graham's middle name is Loren so we decided to use the feminine form of it, Lauren, for this little one as Greta has my middle name, Rebecca. We'll probably call her Kate or Katie but will decide on that once she arrives.

congratulations! so excited that it's a girl...and jealous that you've already decided on a name. we're still struggling with that issue this time.

well, I guess it's no surprise that I like the name. :-)

Well, of course I happen to like the name too, not that it matters ;)
And I just realized that you'll have the advantage I did in that K will be able to use MANY of G's clothes!! A money saver for sure!

I was hoping you girls wouldn't mind my use of both of your daughters names. :-D

When Graham and I discussed what gender we might like to have I always said girl for two reasons: 1 - Being able to recycle all of the clothes. 2 - I loved having a sister close in age to me and I would really like Greta to have that experience. Of course it's all up to God but give a choice, that's what I'd do. :-D

I have thought of two things I'll need to buy - a going home outfit and a swimsuit. Greta's first swimsuit was a 6-9 month and we'll be going on vacation when this little one is almost 3 months so she'll need an itty bitty one!

depending on said little one's size you may find yourself needing more. . . it's funny how they can run through a size a bit differently & then end up seasonally challenged. :-)
