Greta loves it when the mail comes and generally requests something to look at. Usually I hand her whatever junk mail we get and she's pretty content with that. Lately thought I've been thinking about getting her a subscription to a magazine geared towards her age probably as a Valentine's Day present. I know she'd love getting mail just for her - especially something with neat pictures, coloring pages, etc. Please send me any and all suggestions for magazines she might like. Bonus points if it's something that's tried and true at your house!

Big Backyard or Wild Animal Baby from the NWF.
We've enjoyed High Five (Highlights for 2-5 year olds)for a few years as part of Christmas from g'parents. Stephen loves getting his new magazine!
Highlights was one I was considering but wasn't sure if it had changed since I was a child.
I didn't see too many Highlights issues during my childhood, but I like what I've seen in the current High Five issues - if that tells you anything...
The changes I was thinking of were Highlights going with a more liberal bent. For example: I'm all for conservation of the environment but I don't want every page to have doom & gloom about global warming. KWIM?
We've gotten and enjoyed Click and Babybug for our kids. (There are a variety of magazines for a variety of ages on their website.) They are published by cricketmag.com
I like the Babybug magazine because it's like a little hardback book. Harder to destroy too quickly!
