Margaret Rebecca

Born 9/24 @ 5:19pm.
8 lbs 14 1/2 oz.
21 inches long

Labor and Delivery have to be one of the hardest things I have ever done but so completely satisfying. She was born after 13 hours of labor and 3 of pushing (although in my state of mind I only thought I pushed for 30 minutes). I'm sore in muscles and places I never knew I had! We stayed overnight at the birth center and came home today around 2. Nursing has been a bit of a challenge but we are both learning and I'm sure we'll get better at it with practice. I'll try to post more details of the event within the next week or so.

She is adorable!! Will she have a nickname?? :-)

Probably, although we are still debating and trying to figure out her personality. Current candidates are Maggie and Greta

I had wondered about Maggie, but I didn't think of Greta. I am so glad she is finally here where we can see her. :-)

She is precious Kelley!! Don't worry breastfeeding does get easier. Caleb was not easy the first week, but my Mom was La Leche League so she really helped. :) Stick with it I love it!!

She is so cute and a big girl!

She is really cute Kelley! (Labor.I remember in the first hours after Lydia was born wondering if I could ever do "that" again!!) Breastfeeding DOES get easier and less painful and you know you are doing the best thing for her.

What a beautiful baby!!! I love her name. Congratulations! I got to go home from the birth center 6 hours after Claire was born and it was wonderful to get to come home so quickly and get used to life at home with a new baby. Oh I'm so glad and excited that everything went well! And I agree about labor/delivery. Hardest things EVER, but soooo completely worth it and wow... what an experience! It's amazing that our bodies can even DO that!

I misspelled this on my blog. It's Calendula. I found this at vitamin shoppe http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=SH-1032
And Hyland's is a great brand. I use their vitamin C tablets for Emma, and their teething stuff.
