Why clean when you can post?

I'm putting off doing a bit of house cleaning so I thought I would do a short update post. Nothing much exciting has happened since Christmas and that's the way I like it. Christmas was a bit overwhelming and by the time everything was over and done with I was ready to get back to normal. Our excitement this week was a smallish snow storm on Thursday. We got a decent amount of snow (enough to cover the ground) and some sleet and ice. Thankfully we didn't lose power. I have become very attached to heat! We are also keeping Jacques while Jack and Julie are at Disney. He has been a lovely house guest except for the occasional burping. (Who knew dogs could burp so audibly. My dogs generally don't. I guess that's a male dog for ya!) Hopefully the next time I post something exciting will have happened and I can regale you all with the adventure that is my life. :-)

Remember, emotional harangues, bad days, queries to wide world are all acceptable. :-) Nice to hear from 'ya. Burping dogs? That's hilarious.

Hey Kelley - you're alive! Who says your post has to be "fascinating" - we don't care. Just don't keep us waiting a month next time!!

I would have hoped you knew I was alive by my commenting on your posts. :-P

I'm glad to hear that life hasn't been overly exciting. Our life HAS been overly exciting lately and this is not a good thing. (Trips to hospitals and such = not good.) We had snow too, but not much. It was pretty though. Emily was fascinated. :) Oh and I totally agree with the "why clean when I can post" sentiment. ;)

I saw the pictures of poor Emily on your picture site. Is she doing ok now? I hope that any future excitement in your family is of the good kind!

She is on the mend though the long-term anti-biotics have caused all sorts of other unpleasantries. We hope those will cease once the meds run out in a few days! We were really scared when she had to go to the hospital so we're really lucky that she's doing as well as she is!
