LOL =)Yes I remember being quite surprised by this phenomenon the first time around. It DOES get better. Nightime was worst. I never wore a sleep bra the first time, but I use them now and I wish I had done it before. They offer light support, are comfy and you don't wake up with a wet shirt!
lol Isn't it fun? I agree that nightime was the worst. I'd forget in my sleep that I had nursed Caleb on one side and nurse him again on the same side then rule over. :P Andy always laughed at me.
Yes, I highly advocate a sleeping bra and using nursing pads at all time! At least until you regulate. I didn't use a bra at night for the first little bit, and boy, I was using towels, and other ingenious (or not so ingenious solutions). :-) Have fun!
Goodness... I've never leaked. Which only contributes to my on-going paranoia that I don't make enough milk! However, I knew that I did because Claire grew properly and was very healthy and thriving on my milk alone. Yet, it would be just a tad bit reassuring if I could have leaked at all with either of my babes. I actually wished I would so I could at least know for sure that there was milk in there. ;-) I never needed nursing pads or to wear a bra at night. But every baby and pregnancy is different so maybe this time...
Yes, the leaking thing is quite annoying!!!!!! I guess stay away from light colors for the first few weeks...until I (we) get used to the leakage and make sure that we are wearing something for protection!!! :)
I'm a wife, a mom, & a follower of God. I am trained as a computer programmer but have taken on the full time job of raising our children. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, a clean house, and being crafty.
